We are Bremen Town Musician. We play alot of music. We've covered alot of ground. Check out our albums 'Silent Arrows' from 2005 and No one Is holding a Gun To Your Head (Songs to Run to) from 2008. Pleasant surprises and always enjoy!......................... .From 1995 her years were spent playing in crazy improv, folk,noise, bluegrass and electronica bands and busking on the street up and down the east coast of Australia, United Kingdom and Iceland. During this time she (moved house alot - last count was around 70 moves, but who is counting?) undertook an intensive period of formal and informal study to refine her craft in disciplines of music, sound engineering, performance, visual art and writing including masterclasses (Geoff Adeney - ex Bullamakanka and Cleis Pearce - Coolangubra, Dha) and informal sessions with diverse styles of music makers. Emerging as a soloist in 2006 with her EP Silent Arrows which features Peter Wilkins (Blue King Brown) on drums and percussion and was well received. Tracks from Silent Arrows received airplay on ABC Radio National, Sound Quality in 2007 and again in 2008 with tracks from 'no one is holding a gun to your head (Songs to run to). She performed at the respected Smekkleysa (Bad Taste) store and record label in Iceland with band The Sunshine Boys and was requested to perform with improvisation collective Spuni/Graupan for the Governer of Reykjavik at Reykjavik City Hall, also a regular performer at Babalu Kaffihus and Hjomalind in downtown Reykjavik. Performing in Iceland again with the HH collective at Nordic House, University of Iceland in 2006 and having the opportunity to witness the Northern Lights that same evening. Bremen Town Musician composed original music tracks for a spoken word album by Australian performance poet Ghostboy. She has performed in a diverse capacity at the Adelaide Fringe Festival, Queensland Poetry Festival in collaboration with Sezsu Ensemble, Yeppoon Village Festival and was a finalist in the Woodford Folk Festival Wordfood Poetry Slam 2007. Bremen Town Musician has collaborated with Canadian poet Shane Koyczan in 2007 at the Queensland Poetry festival adding improvised music to a spoken word performance and most recently in 2009 a performance of improvised music on a dj set by PQM from New York now Melbourne with flute, sax, percussionist and didge players. Recent collaborations include music for Australian experimental sound artist Anonemeye (Andrew Tutttle) on his latest album relelase and free wheeling in The Hunter S Thompson Orchestra out Outsiders, The Globe. Bremen Town Musician toured the United States wth US/Icelandic band The Foghorns in 2007, had her first book of poetry 'Fire in the Head' published and is working on an upcoming solo exhibiton in sound, installation and drawing. The musicians musician Bremen Town Musician have released a second album receiving airplay on 4ZZZ radio Brisbane and 3RRR Melbourne, with a new band Arron Bool on guitar and bass and Dave Bell on drums and percussion called 'no one is holding a gun to your head (Songs To Run To)'. ARRON BOOL: Multi instrumentalist Arron Bool was a regular face in the vibrant Melbourne music scene for well over a decade, performing and recording with many musically diverse outfits. Whilst studying for a music degree at NMIT he was playing guitar with electronic dance outfit PSX, who came runner up in the 2001 JJJ unearthed competition. Switching to drums he recorded and undertook interstate tours with post-rock minimalists Winterville the following year. Over the next few years he recorded and performed with Fibreglass Disco, Martin Myles, Co-star and Arabian Horse Express. MAYURESH SATHE: Born in Pune, India. Mayuresh plays Drum kit, tabla(Indian drums)- Darbuka, Djembe, and other percussive instruments. I started playing tabla as a kid but it was an on and off kind of thing. I really got into music after I started playing a Drum Kit at age of 20. Since then I have found all other percussion instruments very interesting. I love exploring new sounds and new grooves. I love impromptu jamms and improvisation where musicians interact with each other DAVE BELL: Performances include playing the Woodford Folk Festivals with the bands 'Moot' (06/07 and 07/08 festivals), 'The Transbalken Express' (07/08 and 08/09 festivals), and The Kelly Gang' (08/09). Recordings of his work have been played on Foxtell's 'Fuel TV', on surfing DVDs and featured between acts at 'The Falls Festival'. Dave Bell has completed a four-date tour of Nepal with band 'The Ark Room' and 'Thatchwork City' and is currently in India studying Tabla at Vijnana Kala Vedi School of Traditional Indian Art.
