For the last 10 years or more I've also been playing with DJ's to house, dance and chill loungy grooves and also playing solo sax in bars and discos but mostly in private events around Portugal. Some of the DJ's are: DJ Nebur, DJ Lúcio Monteiro, DJ Nuno Leote, DJ Bruno G, DJ João Vaz, DJ Kastela, DJ Miguel Mateus, DJ Azibi, DJ Rui Remix amongst others.
Has played and/or recorded sax, guitar or bass with Primitive Reason (1994-99) (received 4 nominations for Portugal's grammies in 1997 and winning 2 for Best New Act and Best Single of the Year), One Sun Tribe (2005-2008), Wego, Future Funk, Blind Man’s Buff, Baby Jane, Ortigões, Sir Giant, Jahztá, Raúl Jorge, Contrabanda, Mestre Braima Galissa (Guinea Bissau), Genitho Rasta (Mozambique), Aldo Milá (Angola) besides recording for film soundtracks and TV adverts (Compal, TMN etc.).
Was Musical Director and performer for theatre productions: "Metamorfose" (1997-8), “My Foot My Guide” by Peter Hancke (2003) and “Falar Como Ela”, based on texts by Sam Shephard (2004).
Studied guitar at the Hot Clube de Portugal. Studied Sound Engineering in Lisbon.
