Tenor Thomas Gregg enjoys a wide-ranging career, including performances in opera, early music, concert, recital, and chamber music.
His opera appearances have been with companies in New Orleans, Memphis, and Columbus, Ohio, and he has sung early music with the Boston Early Music Festival and ensembles in Ohio and the Southern United States. In the Boston area he has been a soloist with the Harvard University Choir and many local choral groups, and his extensive professional ensemble work includes appearances with the King's Chapel Choir, the Handel & Haydn Society, Emmanuel Music, Boston Baroque, and the Trinity Choir. As a chamber music specialist, he performs nationally with harpist Emily Laurance as the duo DoubleAction, and recently formed the Tri-State Trio (tenor, horn, and piano) for a concert tour of New England.
An Ohio native, Dr. Gregg holds degrees from Capital University, the University of Michigan, and The Ohio State University, and he has won numerous performance and academic awards, including fellowships to attend two Bach Aria Institutes and two Aston Magna Academies. He teaches at The Boston Conservatory and Tufts University.
