Biography:
Retired Lieutenant Colonel of the United States Air Force. Served in Afghanistan and Iraq. Served as a Flight Nurse, flying our men and women out of the combat zones. While not deployed was a Flight Nurse for the State of Washington with Airlift Northwest. Now in retirement he is the owner of the Rolling Thunder Saloon, in Odessa Washington. At the Saloon, Lathrop honors every year a fallen soldier in the name of all. The saloon is over a hundred years old, and is both biker and music friendly. Nate has played in several bands, but most importantly he wrote a song for Daniel while he was waiting to deploy to Afghanistan. He wrote and performes the song "Freedom at the Cost of a Friend" Nate had never met, or had any connection with Daniel, but yet wrote this song, below for Daniel Pearl.
