Biography: Jessarae (pronounced Jez-a-rae) has been noted in the music industry as one of music’s hottest emerging young talents. The talented 17-year old singer/songwriter doesn’t play sugary pop, opting instead for timeless melodies delivered with equal amounts of rock and soul. Noted for his grace and composure, Jessarae has revealed his classic showmanship by sharing the same stage with Stevie Wonder, Seal, Plain White T’s, Five for Fighting, John Legend and The Roots, Gavin Rossdale, Sugar Ray and Matisyahu to name a few. In 2010, Jessarae was announced the youngest ambassador to join WhyHunger’s “Artists Against Hunger & Poverty” program amongst music luminaries such as Bruce Springsteen, Carlos Santana, Joss Stone and Jackson Browne. In addition, Jessarae launched his own “Dream Big” Tour: Schools Across America – performing and talking with thousands of students at elementary, middle and high schools throughout the country. He finished his summer tour with Camplified — performing for thousands of new fans throughout the Midwest and Northeast. It is Jessarae’s goal to empower his peers “to chase their dreams, no matter what they may be, with tenacity, integrity and courage, staying true to their authentic selves.” Jessarae released his debut full-length CD "Pilot” last year through Raystone Records.
