Biography:
On October 16, 2007, the U.S. Consulate in Recife held the first-ever celebrations of Daniel Pearl World Music Day in northeast Brazil. A concert at the American School in Recife featured Brazilian music by CERVAC, a Brazilian school for the handicapped, and music selections by students of the American School.ranging from show tunes to rock. The concert concluded with the entire crowd singing "Asa Branca" and dancing to forro,a traditional Brazilian rhythm. More information in the article
