Biography:
Musician, interpreter, born in Armenia, Quindío, Colombia, South America.

She starts her musical training at the age of seven, at the “CONSERVATORIO DE MÚSICA DEL TOLIMA”, (Tolima’s Musical Conservatory). Her main musical instrument was the Oboe.

30 years of musical trajectory, that includes a myriad of musical performances to include participation on well-known Colombian festivals such as the Mono Núñez Festival, the “Luis Carlos González Bambuco Festival”, Cootrafa Festival at Bello Antioquia, “Antioquia le Canta a Colombia”, (Antioqia sings to Colombia Festival), “Príncipes de la Canción, Anselmo Duran Plazas” (the prince’s song Festival known as Anselmo Duran Plazas), “Festival del Pasillo Colombiano” (Colombian Pasillo Festival), and a great number of performances at a numerous Colombian “departamentos” (states) as Antioquia, Caldas, Risaralda, Quindío, Tolima and Cundinamarca. She has dedicated twenty of her thirty years as a musician to study and interpret various musical genres such as balada, bolero, Peruvian and Ecuatorian vals.

After 17 years of teaching vocalization and singing techniques, she decided to retired from teaching at the “Instituto de Bellas Artes” (Bellas Artes Institute), Quindio University, so that she exclusively dedicates her life to her singing passion and performance.

On her numerous musical projects and musical productions, she includes “Pensando En Ti’’ (2008) with a variety of Colombian and Latin American rhythms wich she includes on the musical repertory, such as baladas, boleros, cumbias, vals, and joropos.

Her project titled “LA VOZ FEMENINA Y EL REQUINTO” she is able to include authentic Peruvian vals developing an exclusive and personal interpretation with a unique character and style.

She is currently performing her new musical project titled “Mucho más que violetas” (much more than violets), in which she is able to integrate and give life to the most classic and beautiful boleros and baladas, by her magisterial singing and also including her magisterial interpretation of the oboe.

Her last concerts have taken place at Teatro Azul de Armenia, María Juana night club with “Las 24 Horas del Bolero”, Bolo Club, Armenia.

She will be performing for a large group of senior citizens on 20 October 2016 at the Armenia hotel, in the Colombia room and she is dedicating her concert to the love and longevity of a large group of senior citizens and to Daniel Pearl who is an inspiration for Harmony for Humanity. On December she will be in Quito, Ecuador on December 17 and 18, 2016.
