Biography:
DOn Sunday the 30th of November from 6.30pm -10pm we will be holding, ‘A Celebration Of Faith Through Music Evening’ where we are hoping that all of the major faiths will provide songs of praise from their particular tradition. The event is mainly focused around young people performing but older members may also perform. The event is being held at Woodside Halls. The show will begin at 7pm with a break an hour from 8pm for the serving of a vegetarian curry. We are attending to devote around 15-20minutes to each faith. Tickets for the event are priced at £3 for adults and £2 for children/OAP’s.

I am hoping that the evening will include a strong Christian presence and I have already had confirmation of performances from a Christian praise band who featured at the ‘Youth Assembly’ and performances from members of the ‘Childrens Assembly’. The night is the last Sunday of Scottish Inter-Faith Week and also corresponds to St Andrews night so if someone wants to don a kilt and sing a Scottish song they are more than welcome.

If you wish to take part in the event or purchase a ticket please contact Iain Stewart at 59 Elm Bank Street, Glasgow, G4PQ. You may purchase a ticket at the same address from Monday to Friday 9am -5pm. For any more information please contact me at the aforementioned address or phone me on 01413526946 or at 07966286411.

It is hoped that the event will promote friendship and good will between the various faith communities and non-faith communities attending.

Kind Regards

Iain Stewart
