1. Contact artists and venues that already have scheduled performances and ask them to participate in the Daniel Pearl World Music Days “Harmony for Humanity” by registering their concerts at www.danielpearlmusicdays.org. Alternatively, research and send a list of event contacts to musicdays@danielpearl.org and we will get in touch with them. You can also organize and register your own event.
    
2. Visit MySpace.com and Facebook.com and sign up to be a Daniel Pearl World Music Days friend.
    
3. Post flyers in your community about upcoming events. See Samples Posters for format ideas and artwork.
    
4. Submit original music, poems, lyrics, articles, photographs and videos to the "Harmony for Humanity" eStage.
    
5. Contact local DJs and ask them to register and dedicate a show, set or song.
    
6. Ask local radio stations to run World Music Days PSAs (public service announcements) featuring Elton John and Herbie Hancock. 7. Publicize events in your area by contacting local press and through postings on community calendars. Invite them to visit www.danielpearlmusicdays.org and download Press materials from our web site.
    
8. Get your community to issue an official proclamation making October 10 "Daniel Pearl World Music Day" in your area. Contact your local mayor's office or town council. Sample Proclamation
    
9. Document a World Music Days event and share the results by uploading videos, recordings and photographs of performances directly to eStage. Please be sure to fax or mail us the written consent of the event organizer to enable us to display the results on our website. Related press articles or website links referencing events should be sent to media@danielpearl.org.
    
10. Tell everyone you know about Daniel Pearl World Music Days and encourage them to attend an event, add their performances to our Calendar of Events, and visit/listen to eStage throughout October!
